Our wonderful Deli journey started back in 2015 when we (Kevin & Helen) fulfilled our dream and purchased a little shop in Godalming. Simply put we are massive foodies (and drinkies) and obsessed with high quality simple ingredients, with a passion for small local independents and businesses.
Over the years we have worked with local producers and suppliers and gradually built a range with products we love. In 2018 the next stage of our dream came true when we moved next door with double the space. This gave us the opportunity to spread our wings and increase the number of tables, adding a full eat-in menu, and the ability to hold lots more tasting and pop up events. We have also increased our range of products in key areas such as craft ales and most importantly added a bulk buy refill station with pulses, grains, herbs and spices (and wine).
We also now have a small kitchen which allows us to make lots of fresh sauces, salads and sandwiches ready for you to eat in or take away.
Over the years we have met so many lovely people, both staff and customers many of which have become close friends and helped us on our journey. Everywhere you look in the Deli there is a part of them and part of our story.
So what next? More of the same really, and perhaps one day we can do this in another town. See you in the Deli soon K & H x
